Airbrushing a Photo Real Portrait

Airbrushing a Photo Real Portrait Video Clips. Duration : 6.83 Mins.

t's been a looong time since I did something like this... This is REALLY "old school". In fact, it's been so long, I must say I'm a little outta practice. So it's definitely not "Dru Blair", but here ya go. Airbrush combined with Prismacolors. I start out with a completely blank piece of illustration board... And even though it is not necessary, I begin drawing the painting with the airbrush from scratch, without even a pencil sketch first. I do this strictly as self discipline. It's good conditioning... Good exercise for the artistic mind. Toward the end,t here is about 45 minutes of additional airbrush touch-ups not caught on video... So it cuts from me working with the colored pencils right to the finished piece. This is my son. My wife informs me there is something wrong with his left eye, but she is not sure what... But it doesn't matter. I wanna be done with it. I'm ready to move on to the next one... So flaws or not, here it is. Hope you enjoy. Total time was around four hours.
